Behaviour refers to how a child conducts themselves. It is their actions, reactions and functioning in response to everyday environments and situations. Challenging behaviour is a term used to describe behaviour that interferes with a child’s daily life.
This course is designed for educators, childcare providers, social workers, healthcare professionals, parents, guardians, and all individuals involved in the care, support, and protection of children.
This course equips learners with effective communication strategies for engaging with children, helping them navigate challenges, and fostering positive and constructive behavior. It covers a variety of child behavior management techniques that can be applied both in professional settings and at home.
Upon completion of the training material for the Managing Children's Behaviour course, participants are required to undertake a multiple-choice examination. A minimum pass mark of 80% is required to successfully complete the assessment. The test is automatically marked, providing immediate feedback on whether the required standard has been met. In the event of an unsuccessful attempt, learners are permitted up to twenty (20) attempts to pass the exam. Please note that after all twenty attempts have been used, the course must be repurchased in order to retake the assessment.
• The online care course needs a minimum of one hour to complete. This can be a guide to the educational hours needed, and it depends on how quickly an individual can understand the course. The training is online. It may be displayed over multiple sessions or done in one session.
• Learners will have access to the present course for up to nine months from the date of joining. There's no pressure to finish the course in a short time.
